I'm not a big gum chewer. In fact, I haven't had chewing gum in probably 10 years. My dad was a big gum chewer but he chewed because he had bad breath. Although I was thinking that chewing gum promotes bacteria growth and bad breath because it dries out the mouth from excessive saliva.
